In the past three years, opendorse has helped activate campaigns with USAA
and the NFL to encourage fans to join forces and show their support.
As part of its league partnership, USAA serves as the official military appreciation sponsor of the NFL.
USAA’s appreciation for the military is an everyday occurrence, but it is perhaps most visible during the month of November—as Veterans Day marks the calendar. Over the past three years from 2014 to 2016, opendorse has completed military appreciation campaigns with USAA and agencies Merkle and IMG.
63 activations have been
executed from players for USAA
military appreciation campaigns.
The NFL players tweets have
been seen by more than 20
million loyal fans.
More than 47 thousand
fans replied, retweeted, favorited
and clicked the USAA tweets.

In 2016 USAA used opendorse to secure, organize, and activate 26 Twitter endorsements from NFL players.
The tweets reached 6.4M fans and generated over 14.5K engagements.
In the two days leading up to Veterans Day, opendorse activated endorsements from nine NFL players asking fans to get loud in supporting USAA’s “Salute to Service” mission by joining a Thunderclap to thank our military members, veterans and families all at once.
In USAA’s “Why We Salute” campaign, NFL stars created and shared videos via Twitter. The likes of Drew Brees, Jared Allen, and Derrick Johnson testified why they salute our military and encouraged fans to join forces with USAA and the NFL to show their support.
With help from opendorse, USAA and agencies Merkle and IMG secured, organized, and activated endorsements from premier NFL players to bring fan support to military members, veterans, and their families.
