CLC amplified their “College Colors” campaign with activations from 72 professional athletes.
The Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC) continues to connect sports fans with the colleges they root for, with no better example than standing behind College Colors Day. In the week leading up to the kickoff of college football season, CLC was looking to create awareness for the College Colors Day campaign, and indirectly boost sales of college sports apparel as fans looked to prepare for the season. CLC commissioned opendorse to reach even more fans with the campaign by activating a social media strategy featuring tweets from 72 professional athletes from 44 different colleges.
CLC activated endorsements from 72 professional athletes to generate buzz surrounding the College Colors campaign. The campaign reached 13 million impressions and was executed in just three days.
