NFL Watch List: 2014’s Top Rookies, Players, and Campaigns

The time has come; all fantasy football rosters are locked and ready to go. It’s officially football season. The NFL season beings with a bang tonight as the Green Bay Packers face the Seattle Seahawks. We all remember the pre season game in 2012 with the controversial touchdown catch to seal the win for the Seahawks. Can the Packers get revenge their first time back in Seattle since the “Fail Mary” and beat the defending Super Bowl champions? Hold on to your seats, it’s about to be an amazing five months of football.

As the season begins, there is a lot to look forward to. The pre season gave fans a taste of what’s to come on and off the field. From big named rookies to huge endorsements deals, this pre season had everyone talking and anticipating the 2014 season.

Johnny Manziel has become one of the biggest names in the NFL thus far. He and Brian Hoyer have been battling for the starting quarterback job for the Cleveland Browns. No one is for certain if Manziel will lead the Browns offense on the first series of their game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. However, he did lead an aerobics class this pre season in a new Snickers commercial featuring him as “Johnny JamBoogie.”

The Seahawks are coming into the 2014 season sporting Super Bowl rings and a team with the potential to bring home another title. Russell Wilson will be calling the plays and facing off against first week opponent, Clay Matthews, in not only the game, but the newest Bose campaign. We can be sure to expect top-notch performances from both on-field play and off-field endorsements.

And we couldn’t forget about Marshawn Lych and his love for Skittles. He recently goes Beast Mode in a new Skittles commercial.

Last, but certainly not least, there’s veteran Peyton Manning doing what he does best. Last season was one for the record books. He was simply unstoppable. The super star quarterback and the Broncos open up the 2014 season hosting the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday Night Football. How many more records can he break this year? It will be exciting to watch once again.

As if being a dominant quarterback wasn’t enough, Manning took on a side job as a gas station manager in this Gatorade campaign.

Despite some question marks on who will be starting for different teams and which rookies will rise to the top, the season is upon us and fans are ready to go. Along with the excitement of new match-ups every week, you can be certain fans will be entertained by a wide variety of new ad campaigns.
