Kennedy played varsity for Wheatmore High School her first two years, then transferred and played varsity for High Point Christian Academy. She was named All-State her junior and senior year and All-Conference her freshman through senior year. During her high school career, Kennedy reached over 1100 kills, 680 digs, and 195 serving aces. She received the Female Athlete of the Year award from High Point Christian Academy two years in a row. Kennedy plays volleyball at Davidson-Davie. Community College as an outside hitter. During the 2022-23 season, lead her team with 316 kills, .344 hitting percentage, and 360 points total. She had 348 digs, 64 assists, 40 blocks, and 17 service aces. Kennedy received West Region Player of the Year, First Team All Region, and Academic All Region.
