Biography
Majoring in General Business. Moreno spent his freshman 2021 season at Missouri State University where he helped them to their first regional appearance since 2017. He was selected to play in the 2022 FCSAA Fall All-Star Game while playing for State College of Florida. Prior to college, Moreno was a three-time all conference selection on the infield who helped the Sun Prairie Cardinals to a State Championship as a senior, a state runner-up finish as sophomore, and a pair of Big Eight Conference championships with a combined 78-14 record. He earned 3x All-Conference, 1x All-District, and 1x All-State. Moreno was ranked as the top third baseman and eight overall player in Wisconsin by Prep Baseball Report. Started his Mallards of the Northwoods League career in 2021, playing in 2022 where he was a standout, hitting .261 with 30 runs scored for the Mallards and in 2023 played with DeLand Suns in the Florida League and helped Mallards to their 2nd half championship with a .293 ba.
