About
Biography
My name is Abby Bond and I am a collegiate student-athlete attending Corban University in Salem, OR. I am an 18 year old beach volleyball player who competes against many different athletes across the West Coast. I enjoy traveling, working out, watching movies, hiking, and spending time with my family in my free time. I’ve always been a super adventurous and creative person and I enjoy learning new things. I am also an advocate for people struggling with disabilities and for young athletes looking to pursue the next level of competition. I myself have a very uncommon genetic disability called hypokalemic periodic paralysis that has always been a part of my life. I want to encourage young athletes to pursue their dreams and teach them to not let their circumstances deter them from doing what they love.
