Two of my biggest passions from the time I was little were swimming and cheering for the Jayhawks. I grew up in Overland Park, Kansas in a Jayhawk family that always had Kansas sports on our TV. I love all sports, but there is something special about swimming that had me hooked from the time I started swimming at age 7. I love the daily challenge of it, the process of getting better, and the unbreakable bonds it forms with teammates. Now at KU, the opportunity to do what I love while representing the university I love and pursuing my academic goals is a privilege that I am thankful for every day. I am an exercise science major, aspiring to work in physical therapy or college athletics. I have a passion for serving others, and I want to work to help others achieve their goals in my future career. Although my future plans are a work-in-progress, I am enjoying where I am at now, focused on making the most of my time as a Jayhawk student-athlete.
