I’m a nursing major with a focus on caring for others, especially children—a path inspired by the nurses who once looked after me as a kid during my own hospital stays. Their compassion and kindness left a lasting impression, and I hope to give back that same level of care to others. As a college track and field athlete and former high school basketball player, sports have taught me the discipline to respect and care for my body. Coming from a small Division III high school with a graduating class of just 90 students, becoming a Division I athlete has been a major achievement and one I’m incredibly proud of. Now, as I work toward my goal of becoming a MAC champion, I’m also focused on making an impact beyond sports. I’m driven to support my community in ways that reach beyond the track and field, hoping to inspire and uplift the next generation.
