Hello! I am Alani Hightower-Bend. I am a seniorSports Media major and Spanish minor. I am a swimmer with Butler University and Carmel Swim Club, and have been swimming competitively for over a decade. In my first 2 years as a swimmer at Butler University, I have set multiple school records and had multiple Top 10 finishes at the Big East Conference Championships. I currently hold the school record in the 100 Freestyle, the 100 Backstroke, the 400 Free Relay as well as the 200 Medley & 200 Free Relays. As far as my academic goals, in addition to a career in sports media, another goal of mine is to study abroad in a Spanish speaking country. In my spare time, I enjoy modeling and have been featured in several commercials, TV shows, and print ads.
