Biography
I am a handcyclist on the US Paralympics Cycling National Team, from Putney, Vermont. An able-bodied bike and nordic ski racer before a paralyzing accident as a teenager, I started handcycle racing in 2001. I have competed in multiple World Championships, World Cups, National Championships and 3 Paralympic Games. I am a 2 time World Time Trial champion and 3 time Paralympic Games medalist. In addition, I am a proud single mom to a teenaged daughter, Willa. I also work part-time with Bike-On.com, connecting people with disabilities to adaptive cycling, by providing them with equipment and resources. In my leisure time I enjoy traveling, sewing, reading, and home improvement projects. @aliciadana8
