Biography
My name is Alondra Maldonado, I am a senior in college at Delaware State University. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. I have been playing volleyball for a total of 13 years now, 4 of those being at Delaware State. From my time at being at Delaware State our volleyball program has progressed a lot, we have gone from the overlooked team in the conference three years ago to now making it to the finals twice and being named MEAC champions of the 2022 season also making our first appearance ever in the NCAA national tournament. I am a 8x Player of the week, 3x MEAC first team and 3x MEAC all tournament team. I had a total of 321 kills this season leading me to a total of 1,032 college career kills. I was part of the Puertorican national team for two years before coming to DSU. During that time we managed to go to the World Championships in Egypt and placed #16 in the world in the U18 category. I was placed #13 in the best middle blockers in the world at age 16.
