I am Alpha Bah, a midfielder number 14 at Sewanee: The University of the south. I am a freshman from Brooklyn, NY studying Computer Science and Business. I have really enjoyed my time at Sewanee becoming involved within the community through being a part of the activities committee TEB and working at the Fowler Center. I was born in Brooklyn but actually grew up in Guinea, West Africa for 6 years. Growing up in Guinea was a blessing because it allowed me to become immersed in my people and culture, and it allowed me to diversify myself from my colleagues in the states. During my time in Guinea I learned Pulaar a West African language, which has allowed me to become Bilingual, and to this day I still speak Pulaar with my family. Some interesting facts- I am a first Gen college student, am also very religious, being a practicing Muslim. During my free time I love to play Fifa, eat food, look into style & fashion especially suits and Dashiki, watch shows & movies, and just be social.
