I'm Alyssa Bourque, a track & field athlete at the University of Vermont. I competed in the javelin throw in the America East Outdoor Championships (11th overall). I also qualified for the New England Championships (NEICAAA) at Bryant University in Smithfield, RI where I finished 14th. I am majoring in Biomedical Engineering and plan to attend medical school. This summer, I will be in my hometown of Benton, Maine to volunteer coach with the Lawrence High School track and field team as well as intern at Northeast Laboratory as a lab assistant. Prior to UVM, I was a three-sport athlete at Lawrence High School (Fairfield, ME) where I was Class President, National Honor Society Vice President, and graduated with a 4.0 GPA. I am on Opendorse to create meaningful relationship with companies and brands that align with my values. I am passionate about the environment. I am also proud to be #PLIABLEATHLETE and support Pliable's Mission E50 to increase the popularity of women's sports.
