2023: 3 x Elite National Champion 2021: 20-24 Xterra World Champion My name is Anders Johnson and I am from a town of 500 in Northern Utah. I have been mountain biking for many years and have recently found my way to track cycling, an area where my skills are quite well suited. I write training plans and coach ~10 young-ish mtb athletes and also am currently a Project Manager at Stanford School of Medicine working on the My Heart Counts study - a large scale cardiovascular health study, and the ELITE study (elite.Stanford.edu) looking at the genetics of elite athletes. I have loved working on these projects because I get to look the at health of the fittest in the world while trying to increase health on a wide scale for the most sedentary portion of the population.
