Hi, my name is Andre Norris. Growing up in a family of four boys, I was the first of my mom’s children to pursue a college degree. I am very grateful for this opportunity because I know it is both a blessing and a responsibility. Sports, especially basketball, have always been a big part of my life. Playing basketball taught me discipline, teamwork, perseverance, and focus, and it opened doors for me in education and personal growth. I’ve learned how to handle both success and failure and how to push myself even when I didn’t feel capable. By the end of this year, I will have earned my associate degree in science along with another degree, and I know none of it would have been possible without God’s guidance. Before I really knew God, my life was mostly focused on what I could achieve and how others saw me. I tied my worth to my performance in basketball, school, and other areas of life. When I succeeded, I felt valuable and capable, but when I failed, I felt like I wasn’t enough. Fait
