I am one of six kids and love being outdoors. I broke my neck in high school which left me paralyzed from the neck down. I have been fortunate to have regained much movement and now row for the national team as a para-rower. I am very involved in raising awareness for spinal cord injuries through organizations like the high fives foundation and the kelly brush foundation. I recently graduated from Stanford University with a degree in Computer Science. In addition to para rowing, I have taken up adaptive kitesurfing and surfing. I also ski and bicycle in my free time! My motto is to live life to the fullest and do so with a great attitude.
