I’m a Junior at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock studying Construction Management and competing on the cross country and track teams. I am passionate about these sports because they allow the body and mind to be pushed farther than ever expected. Whether it’s running four laps in under four minutes or picking off one last competitor, I will always seek for improvement. I am also strongly passionate about cycling and mountain biking. I’ve found that being a multi-dimensional athlete provides longevity within our sports and further connects the body and mind. Endurance sports have also opened my eyes to the world of nutrition. Researching the basics of macronutrients and food groups, I’ve gained a solid understanding of how our engine needs to be fueled. I am driven each day to build relationships and inspire while strengthening my own body, spirit, and mind.
