I'm a baseball player originally born in Joplin, MO, but I now live in Kansas City, MO. You could even call it ironic that I now attend school in Joplin at MSSU considering I lived there for around 11 years. I play all three OF positions as well as 1B. I hit left-handed and being from Kansas City I grew up idolizing left-handed hitting LF Alex Gordon of the Kansas City Royals. My interests outside of baseball include watching sports, spending time with family and friends, playing video games, and cooking. This is my first year at Missouri Southern after spending two years at Missouri State. My father (Rob Townsend) also played football at MSSU from 1995-1996.
