My dream to play on the LPGA tour started when I was 14. I made a promise to myself that I would work very hard to earn my LPGA Tour card and join the best in the world competing on the biggest stages in golf. With the help of social media, I want to have a career in golf where I can be a positive influence, connect with people, answer questions, and give encouragement to those who are following in my footsteps. I also want to create my own foundation that will introduce more kids of color to the game and be their mentor. I plan to set an example for those kids while playing on tour as there are not many women of color on the LPGA to look up to. I also wish to be a spokesperson for African American girls and boys and help open doors of opportunities for others like me who have struggled to get opportunities to play professionally and collegiately.
