I am a 20 year old para taekwondo athlete in the women’s -52kg category, classified as K44. I spent my youth struggling with my limb difference, and took up taekwondo to gain confidence and overcome my limitations. I was chosen as a wildcard for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. While I did not medal, I am extremely grateful for this opportunity. It was an honor to represent Team USA in the sport that I love. My goals moving forward are to become the best athlete I can be and to contribute to the growth of para taekwondo in the United States. I live and train in Connecticut with my family and my two dogs.
