Asa is a track and field athlete studying marketing and finance from Cincinnati, Ohio. In pursuit of athletic excellence Asa is a 4 time MAC Champion, including titles in the 100 and 200 meter dash. Outside of athletics, Asa enjoys practicing as a financial representative, as well as serving as Chief Risk Officer in Kent State’s student led investment fund. One of Asa’s main interests in finance is the emergence of digital assets, and their role in the portfolio of retail and qualified investors alike. Since Asa grew up as the eldest brother of 3 boys, and tried his best lead and mentor them, he knows the value of a positive role model in a child’s life. Wanting to make an impact on others, Asa mentors a group of sixth graders in Akron, Ohio. Mentoring gives him much joy, as he can see himself in his interactions with his mentees.
