Biography
My name is Ashyiria Savage, and I am a Division II track & field athlete at Missouri Southern State University, competing on a full athletic scholarship while majoring in Sport & Recreation Management. I’m originally from Dallas, Texas, and my journey as a sprinter and hurdler has been built on discipline, resilience, and consistency. I am a two-time NCAA National qualifier, earning appearances at both Indoor and Outdoor Nationals, and in 2024 I became the MIAA Indoor Champion in the 60m hurdles. That same year, I was honored with the Lionbacker Award, recognizing my impact and contributions to the program on and off the track. Standing at 4’11, I pride myself on maximizing performance through strength, power, and technique, highlighted by a 315 lb back squat, 185 lb power clean, and 170 lb bench press. Beyond athletics, I am an athletic intern, a hairstylist, and a creative who values authenticity, professionalism, and growth.
