My name is Avery Sky, and I am a sophomore on the Point Loma Nazarene University women’s golf team. I’ve been playing competitive golf since the age of 5 and have been fortunate to enjoy a successful career so far. I have made 4 hole-in-ones, appeared in LPGA golf commercials, and currently work for Future Champions Golf as part of their tournament staff and social media team. Before attending Point Loma, I competed at the Division 1 level at Long Beach State and Dallas Baptist University. During my junior golf career, I won the New Mexico West Texas Amateur and was named New Mexico Player of the Year six times. I was even honored to have a day named after me in New Mexico. In 8th grade, I contributed to my high school varsity golf team’s success in winning the District, Metro, and State championships. I am currently pursuing my passion for golf and competing in the ollegiate level. After college, my goal is to attend Q-School and pursue a professional golfing career.
