Hello! My name is Brandon Madrigal and I am a junior on the baseball team at Columbia University, studying political science. I grew up in Southern California where I fell in love with baseball at a young age before coming to Columbia to pursue a strong degree and be a part of a special baseball program. I played a ton of travel ball growing up which I always enjoyed the aspect of going to new cities around the country. Although my freshman year at Columbia was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had the opportunity my sophomore year to win the Ivy League, and compete in the NCAA Regionals where we fell in the final game. Off the field, I am pursuing a career in finance and will be interning at RBC Capital Markets this upcoming summer. In my free time I love trying new restaurants in the city, going to sporting events, and playing video games with my friends back home.
