I am a junior on the women’s soccer team at Arizona State University. Outside of soccer I am heavily involved within the athletic department as president of EmpowHER, vice president of the Student Athlete Advisory Comittee, and a member of Tip of the Fork. I am also helping start up a company at the moment that is focused on connecting D1 athletes with youth athletes in the area for not only skill training but also mentorship and a personal connection. Throughout my collegiate career I have struggled with injury having to medically redshirt my freshman year due to an ankle injury and miss preseason my sophomore year due to a hamstring injury. Through all of this hardship of Injury I have been able to show resilience and recognize first hand the importance of mental health awareness within athletics. I am a huge advocate for mental health and overall empowerment of everyone.
