Hi, I’m Bronson Ortlieb, a 21-year-old D1 track athlete at Fresno State. I grew up in Taft, a small town in California, and have always seen myself as an underdog. I wasn’t the most athletic or talented, but through hard work and faith, I made a name for myself—winning a Valley Championship for a school no one knew. At Fresno State, I joined the team with no scholarship due to Title IX limits. We’re a walk-on team, often overlooked, but we compete and beat scholarship athletes because we love the sport.
