My name is Brooklynn Kirkpatrick and I am the keeper for the Women’s Soccer Team at Youngstown State University.  I am also their two year Captain and try to lead them through hard work and dedication.  I am majoring in nursing and am a proud member of the honors collage as well.  My job, on and off the field, is to protect, defend and take care of my team. Just like in nursing, I am always wiling to put myself on the line to protect what is important!  As an NCAA athlete, I pride myself on representing my team, my friends and my fellow athletes in a way that resonates pride, confidence and humility.  I am truly grateful for the opportunity I have to play the sport I love and hope to leave a legacy of dedication, excellence and leadership that will continue to make an impact long after I have left the soccer net as a the Penguin’s Keeper.
