I am a Biomedical Engineer by study (University of California- Irvine) and now work in Product Marketing for the largest medical device company in the world (Medtronic). I've used my engineering brain to overcome obstacles and challenges on the bike as well. And when you've been racing for 22+ years, there are a lot of problems that you encounter! Injuries, technology short comings, fitness plans, etc etc. I'm honored and proud to make Team USA for my first ever Paralympics. And more than anything, I'm so proud of myself for not quitting when I had my life changing accident in 2019. While things don't always work out like you planned, they can still happen. Thank you to each and every individual, friend, family member, brand, or supporter over the many many years of me racing on my path to this point.
