My name is Cameron McMickens. I’m currently 19 years old and I’m a freshman on the baseball field. I should be a sophomore, but I broke my back my senior year of high school and was told sports would be a no go for me. However, William Carey took me in, got me back to full health, and I should be able to pitch this year for them. I plan to get my bachelors in physical education, then my masters in sports administration, and lastly get my Ph.D. Besides all of that, let me tell you a bit about myself. I love baseball and working out, but I what I love more than those things is God. I currently use tiktok to spread the word of God, and if I’m not posting on there I’m probably talking to someone about God. Without God, I would be hopeless. I wouldn’t be happy, and I wouldn’t be at William Carey.
