I’m Caroline Birdsell, a forward on the Gopher Women’s Soccer Team from Wilmette, Illinois, majoring in Sports Management. My journey has been one of resilience, overcoming four left knee procedures, including an ACL reconstruction, to return stronger than ever to the field. Beyond soccer, I’m passionate about entrepreneurship and using my platform to make a difference. I’m working on finding entrepreneurial ventures that blend my love for sports with my desire to create positive change, from launching initiatives that promote physical wellness to advocating for mental health awareness in athletes. My experiences both on and off the field have shaped me into someone driven not just to succeed, but to inspire and give back.
