My name is Cat Salladin and I’m a current D1 athlete, social worker, MSW student, and mental health advocate. I currently work with Athletes for Hope and The Hidden Opponent, and I am passionate about using my skills in writing, public speaking, and engagement to advocate for student athlete mental health. I hope to create widespread change within the world of athletics to decrease the stigma surrounding mental health and support student athletes like myself. I’m a passionate writer who has published multiple articles and has written numerous fictions works including a full-length musical. I’m currently working on a book entitled “Triumphant Failure” detailing my experience as an athlete on the U.S. National Team and the result of that success in the following years. Overall, I hope to create positive change in the world and be a light to others! Mental health matters!
