Hi! My name is Charles(Chas) Mathis Baliatco. I started running in 7th grade and never stopped since. The running teams and community offered a relationship with a sport that I couldn't have gotten anywhere else. I have been able to use all the gifts God has given me to the best of my ability and it has given me great reward and fulfillment in life. Running is peace of mind and competing in the sport is a test of will and mental strength. I now run at the University of Michigan - Dearborn and I know that here I can thrive and grow in speed, adulthood, and life. I qualified for States D1 for both Cross Country in the 5k and Track in the 4x800m my senior season. Another thing that has been with me my whole life is Singing. I have been in shows, championship wining choirs, recorded albuns, and in MSVMA winning competitions.
