My name is Charles O’Block, however I prefer to go by Charlie. I was born and raised in Houston. I have an immense passion and love for my city, and it’s an honor that I get to wear the name on my chest. I’ve dreamt of competing in collegiate athletics since I was a kid, but I never thought I would actually make it. This is my 3rd year in college and my 1st year at UH, where I am currently studying computer science. I attended Texas A&M my freshman year and was apart of the Beta Theta Pi chapter. My sophomore year I transferred to Houston Baptist (now Houston Christian) to begin my track and field career. I’m now in my 2nd year of track and field, competing my first year at HBU. I believe that I am very marketable and have reputable socials that reach a wide audience. I have a unique story that I would love to share, however it’s still being written.
