I’ve had cerebral palsy my whole life and for the past 10 years I have been in front of thousands of people crafting a message of hope centered around disability awareness, goal setting, and teamwork. What’s truly amazing (and humbling) is that people want to listen! I’ve been blessed to connect with people all across the United States…everyone from kindergarten students who are just learning how to draw to multi-millionaire business professionals who rarely think about life with a disability. I have the honor and privilege of throwing the javelin for the U.S. Para Track and Field Team. I made the finals in Rio 2016 and have earned a spot on a few more international teams. While training at the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center I wrote a children's book titled Henry Makes it on Top. It is available on Amazon and a portion of every book sale helps Angel City Sports, an adaptive sport non-profit organization that changes lives through sport.
