I am a student-athlete at Loyola University Maryland! I am studying Elementary Education looking to become a teacher one day as well as start coaching. I plan to continue swimming throughout all 4 years of college and even after my collegiate years are over. This past year I participated in the Baltimore Swim Across America fund raiser which I helped raise money to be donated to cancer research at John’s Hopkins Hospital. Outside of swimming I injured my shoulder dislocating it in 2022 as well as getting a major tear my labrum. This was a big shift in my life but I learned to bounce back and continue to swim without needing surgery. Along with this I got diagnosed with Wolf Parkinson’s White Syndrome In 2023 which is a heart condition that can lead to severe complications like cardiac arrest if my heart rate got high enough. I continued to push through to do what I love in the pool. My goal is to help the younger generation not give up on what they truly love no matter what happens.
