Talented first-year player who rounded into form in SEC play after missing time to start the year with mononucleosis ; helped get the team back to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2017 after tying a program record with 26 wins Saw action in 28 games, starting the final 19 for the Gamecocks ; averaged 10.4 points, 5.7 rebounds (led team), 1.8 assists, 1.0 blocks and 1.0 steals per game en route to earning SEC All-Freshman honors Scored in double figures 13 times and led the team with a pair of double-doubles Shot 59.7 percent (117-196) from the floor to lead the team and also had a team-high 21 dunks ; his field goal percentage was the fourth-best for a single-season in school history (min. 50 made FGs) Made his debut in Garnet & Black vs. George Washington (Dec. 1) ; scored his first career points in the blowout win Had his first double-figure game with 10 points in a win over Elon (Dec. 22) ; followed that up with 17 points in the non-conference finale vs. Florida A&M
