Hello, I am Currie Marusak and I wear #6 for Texas Tech Volleyball, and I’m from Amarillo, TX. I plan on becoming a Nurse in the future and possibly specializing as a Pediatric nurse or OBGYN. My parents and two brothers have played sports here at Texas Tech. My father (Dean Marusak) played football, my mother (Cyd Marusak) was a hurdler, my oldest brother (Braden Marusak) played football, and older brother (Max Marusak) played baseball at TTU and is now at Louisiana Lafayette. I enjoy working out, going to church, traveling and experiencing the outdoors. I am a HUGE animal person and love interacting with animals of all kinds. I am super excited for what the rest of my experience as a student-athlete holds.
