In addition to competing in track and field, I am majoring in Human Physiology at the University of Minnesota as an aspiring dentist. I am also an artist and do freelance work. Some of my art is showcased @dalaynidraws on Instagram. Working with homeless shelters is something that I deeply care about as well. I try to help people less fortunate than I in any way I can. That includes collecting and donating clothes, toys, bathroom items, and anything that the homeless shelters allow the families and individuals to have. I’ve helped two homeless high school football players make they way to college in 2019. I collected clothes, food, bathroom supplies, room supplies, and money in order to help them have the necessities for college life. I want to have a positive mindset and attitude on and off the track and that is what I try to help other people achieve any way possible.
