I’m Deana Franklin, a backspot for William Jessup University’s Stunt program and a proud Biology major working toward my dream of becoming a radiologist. I’ve been part of the cheer world for 7 years and stunt for 5, and I hope to one day be known as a national championship athlete. Growing up, I moved around a lot, which pushed me to step out of my comfort zone, make new friends quickly, and become the outgoing, adventurous person I am today. My teammates and friends call me the protector because I always have their back if you mess with them, you mess with me. Outside of athletics and academics, I love traveling, trying new foods, and exploring fashion. You’ll usually catch me in Lululemon, Alo, Nike, or with an Alani Nu in hand.
