I’m Derek Houston, a catcher and Division I student-athlete at the University of North Carolina. Originally from Utah, I’m driven by faith, family, discipline, and a desire to make a difference. Before joining the Tar Heels, I played baseball at Utah Valley University and spent two years serving as a missionary in Liberia. This experience gave me a lasting passion for supporting healthcare and education in underserved communities. Beyond baseball, I’m a husband, biology student, and aspiring physician. I want to use my platform to inspire young athletes, serve others, and create an impact that reaches beyond the field. I’m excited to partner with brands that authentically align with my values, especially in athletics, health, recovery, nutrition, family, faith, and service.
