Hello, my name is Diera Waton, and I am a senior on the Women's Soccer Team at Utah State University. I am pursuing my Master's degree in sports management, having majored in psychology with a minor in sociology. I am of African American and Native American descent and am the first in both sides of my family to pursue higher education. Spending quality time with my family is something I cherish, and I am always approachable and open-minded. My passion lies in my culture, my family, and my spirituality. During high school, I played basketball and volleyball, and I also ran track for a brief period in my senior year. I strive to improve myself in every aspect of my life. My everyday goal is to relentlessly pursue excellence, embrace challenges as opportunities for growth, and refuse to settle for mediocrity.
