My name is Elijah Kruse (I go by EJ) and I'm a junior at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee studying Computer Engineering. My story is an unlikely one. I went from a JV sprinter my junior year of HS, to COVID cancelling my senior year season, to walking on at a D3 school, to becoming a D3 All-American as a college freshman, and finally landing at a D1 University as a scholarship student-athlete. There is more of my story to be written though. I'm coming off 3 major hamstring injuries that forced me to miss all of my sophmore season, and I'm looking to do big things this year! Outside of the track and the classroom, I like to live an active lifestyle. I'm big into disc golf, working out, going on walks, and nutrition. On top of that, I enjoy video games, hanging out with my friends, and collecting baseball and football trading cards.
