I was born in San Diego and moved to Las Vegas when I was 10 years old. I was one of the first two observant Jewish baseball players ever to be drafted in the history of the MLB amateur draft when the Washington Nationals selected me in the 20th round in 2021. I decided to attend Wake Forest University to play Division I baseball instead of turning professional. I keep kosher and observe the sabbath and holidays. I played shortstop and pitcher in high school and recently transitioned to catcher. I donate at least 10% of my earnings to charity.
