Hello! My name is Lizzi. I was born with a condition called amniotic band syndrome and as a result I was born with one hand. I started swimming when I was seven and ever since I have been on a mission to change the narrative to show the world that disabilities are capable and powerful. At the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games I won a silver and a bronze medal as a member of the 4x100 freestyle and medley relay. In Rio, I also just missed the podium in the 100m butterfly by .01.
