My name is Ella Wesolowski. I play softball at Mississippi State University. I’m a catcher/outfielder. Not only do I love the sport, but I love the constant challenges that it brings everyday. Enduring obstacles in regular life instances are much easier after playing through the many failures that come with softball. It’s brought me a lot of mental toughness skills, especially when dealing with anxiety. Throughout childhood, anxiety was a major struggle for me. It’s still a daily occurrence, but softball has helped teach me mental skills to deal with anxiety. Academically, I am currently undecided with my major. However, I am very interested in law enforcement and the sports management field.
