Hello, my name is Ellie and I am a freshman at Umpqua Community College. My goal is to obtain a pre-nursing degree in my two years here, and later transfer to a four-year university to pursue a career in physical therapy. I graduated from Bonanza High School, with the honor of being valedictorian of my class. I was a very active member in both 4-H and FFA, and held many officer positions while in these organizations. I was also a varsity athlete on the soccer basketball, and track teams. One of the main reasons I chose to come to UCC was because I was recruited to join the track team. I am very excited to take advantage of this opportunity and further my skills as a track athlete. My main events are pole vault and high jump. I have been doing track since my freshman year of high school, and am so excited to compete in this sport at the next level.
