Biography
I am a sophomore on the throwing team at University of Northwestern, St. Paul, MN. I am also the manager for the women’s basketball team. With the end of my freshman season I have won All-conference 1st place in javelin and Honorable mentioned for getting 8th in discus at UMAC conference championship and lastly I ended with an All-American title 2nd place for javelin at the NCCAA championships. I finish 47th in the nation for division 3 in javelin!!! I have received 2 sportsmanship awards for the indoor and outdoor season my freshman year in college, and UMAC Field Athlete Player of the Week Award. I am looking forward to growing my name and to inspire young women athletes to show empowerment. I have always been involved with sports from a young age, it has always been a passion of mine to play sports. I am a student athlete with hard of hearing, I have worn hearing aids since I was 6 months old, and I want to share my story. Check my Instagram emily_mj_ashton God bless!
