Hello, I’m Emily Cheatham a student-athlete at Shawnee State University, majoring in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Psychology, and proudly part of the SSU softball team. I’m on the pre-med track with dreams of becoming a dermatologist, practicing in a hospital where I can make a real impact in people’s lives. I’m an active member of both the Pre-Med and Psychology clubs and passionate about health, science, and supporting others—from the inside out. My drive to help others shows in everything I do. I volunteer at Sierra’s Haven Animal Shelter and have shadowed Dr. Tim Wells at Shawnee Animal Clinic. I’ve also contributed to global causes, like packing meals with Feed My Starving Children. Currently, I work as a DODD individual care provider, assisting people with disabilities in living full, joyful lives—and I’m committed to disability advocacy on and off the field.
