My name is Emma Anibal. I'm currently a Freshman at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. I compete on the Division 1 Track & Field team. I am majoring in Nursing, in hopes of becoming a Pediatric Nurse. I grew up in Omaha, and I attended Bennington High School. I was a four year varsity letter winner on the track team competing in high jump and the 4x400 meter relay. I've been competing in track since I was 7 years old. I've competed in most events track has to offer, but now I specialize in the high jump. I have three siblings, one younger sister, Hayden, and two younger brothers, Edward and Graham. My parents names are Ed and Lisa. In addition to my academics and athletics, I am a supporter of Heart Heroes for children born with Congenital Heart Defects. My younger brother was born with two holes in his heart and underwent open heart surgery when he was 9 months old. I'm also a supporter of JDRF because a close family friend was recently diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes.
