I come from a small town in Michigan, and I grew up on a farm. I love all nature and all seasons, and I love animals! I love music and taught myself how to play piano. My hobbies include puzzling, reading, baking, and exercising! Shopping is my guilty pleasure. As a kid, I played tennis and volleyball, eventually choosing volleyball. I am passionate about giving back to volleyball, and I plan to stay in the game playing as long as I can and then coaching. I would never be where I am without the support from my family. An important cause to me is making travel sports affordable for low-income families. The commitment we ask of families to produce the top-level athletes of the next generation is a unique sacrifice that not everyone can afford to make.
